Spotlight: Jason Derulo – “If It Ain’t Love”

Jason Derulo dropped his new song “If It Ain’t Love” a couple of days ago, and honestly, I haven’t enjoyed listening to a Jason Derulo so much since “Wiggle” came out.

Written and produced by The Monsters & The Strangerz, the track is a house/dance-pop banger that’s instantly catchy with distorted background background, and surprise R&B beat popping up during the bridge. The lyrics are a little cheesy at times.

Your eyes don’t lie.
And if I needed proof, that body tell the truth?

Seriously? But it’s better than the last singles Derulo has put out, so it’s okay.

Derulo will be hosting the 2016 iHeartradio Music Awards April 3, and he’ll also perform “If It Ain’t Love” live for the first time during the ceremony.
