Mistakes happen. Don’t forget the lessons you learned.
I often say, “mo money, mo problems” and people usually respond with, “problems I’d love to have”. I chuckle when they say this because it is clear they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. It is also clear, if they had money and fame, they wouldn’t have it for long.

TGIF – and I have a daughter with a sense of humor
Because I keep it real, I didn’t crop out the clutter behind me in this picture, and I put it on the front page. And yes, I still haven’t finished painting my bedroom. It is what it is.
We have a lot of fun in my house and we tend to do things that are not the norm. Like my daughter and I staying up the majority of the night talking via web cam and chat…when she’s in the house, in her room. And her taking screenshots of me without me realizing it.

My daughter asked me how a girl knows when a guy loves her. As a parent, you gotta love it when your child trusts you enough to ask these types of questions. Although I answered her, I figured this is the perfect topic for my first article.

Happy Birthday Monarch – I love you…
Today would have been my Mom’s birthday. I miss her terribly. I am trying to do what she would want. Celebrate her life, not mourn her death.
