Stray Kids are back with their latest single DO IT.
Do It is the start of the SKZ IT TAPE series. The album is all about encouraging fans “act boldly with confidence” in their lives.
The video makes the argument through imagery, where Stray Kids bring back color into a dead city.
A World Stuck in Pause
The video opens in a dystopian version of Seoul where the light has disappeared. Fog hangs over an abandoned apartment complex. Nothing looks alive.
Stray Kids literally drop into this environment on what look like electric brooms. They appear like modern witches sent to disrupt the monotony.
Normally, crows are associated with death, darkness and trickery. Yet the bird is also a symbol of intelligence, adaptability and intuition. They’re messengers from the divine.
When the World Starts Changing Back
The abandoned building they land in feels hollow. The backup dancers in white are like zombies, joining in the choreography only for specific moments. Their sudden stops reinforce the idea of a world stuck between motion and paralysis.
Everything stays in black and white until the chorus hits. As soon as the hook repeats, the space wakes up. Color rushes into the frame. Surges of energy run across the walls. Confetti and flashes of light appear out of nowhere.
The more they perform, the more the building brightens. It turns into something close to a festival. Motion creates momentum. Intention creates energy.
The Message Behind the Hook
Do It is about acting boldly on what you want without spiraling into doubt. Hesitation is the real obstacle. The members have described its message as acting rather than hesitating with confidence and coolness.
Failure is not treated as something to avoid. The song argues that if you are doing what you love, every mistake is growth. There is no loss in this fight because the process becomes flawless when you commit to it fully.
The song is essentially a gentle push that encourages you to trust your gut. To move now rather than wait for some imaginary perfect moment.
Symbolism That Reinforces Action
Stray Kids’ styling shifts once the energy in the world shifts. By the end of the video, the members wear outfits with touches of pink.
Pink is linked to hope, healing, and the kind of joy that comes with new beginnings. It is also associated with the heart chakra, which governs love, relationships, and self acceptance.
Cherry blossom petals fall from the sky in the final moments. They have long been symbols of renewal and rebirth. A flock of crows lifts off the roof, signaling that their work is done. The world has been restored. DO IT is not telling you to be reckless. It is telling you that stillness born from hesitation is the thing that drains color from your world. Motion brings it back. The moment you stop holding yourself back is the moment everything else starts shifting into place.
