ALLDAY PROJECT is finally back with their very first comeback!
It has been five months since their explosive debut with the double singles FAMOUS and WICKED. Those tracks had the kind of confidence you almost never see in rookies. They felt sure of themselves. They had bite. When a group starts off strong like that, you expect them to stay in that lane.
With One More Time, they didn’t.
A Softer Side of ALLDAY PROJECT
Released on November 17, 2025, One More Time is a pre-release digital single that’ll lead into the group’s first EP in December.
Annie, Woochan and Youngseo make up the vocal line here, while Tarrzan and Bailey handle the rap verses. Woochan sings for the first time, which adds a different vibe to the group. The song is written by Lee Seung Hun, with production from Teddy and Vince.
One More Time is a subdued, dance-pop track rooted in liquid drum and bass. It also has elements of hyperpop, trap, and Jersey club scattered throughout. It’s pleasant, but it’s not the instant magnet that FAMOUS was.
The lyrics are about fleeting moments and the idea of enjoying the present together. The music video is filled with city nights. There’s plenty of scenes of ADP at a beach party with fireworks going off. They’re chilling with each other at a parking lot or an abandoned pool, before ending with the group dancing at a party. The whole visual is around freedom and spontaneity.
Even if the song itself doesn’t demand attention in the same way their debut did, the visuals and the message give it real purpose.
I’ll admit that One More Time doesn’t have that allure FAMOUS had where it reels you in. FAMOUS and WICKED had a certain charm to them. One More Time feels more like an attempt to recreate 2010s dance-pop. It’s not bad, but it’s not a song that convinces you that only ALLDAY PROJECT can pull off.
A Strategic Shift Instead of a Misstep
Even if the song doesn’t hit the same as their debut, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
It’s good that THEBLACKLABEL didn’t try to force carbon copies of ALLDAY PROJECT’s first singles down our throats. One More Time shows that ALLDAY PROJECT can explore different sides of themselves. They can be versatile instead of locking themselves to one concept.
Also, the group’s hip hop concept was VERY polarizing for Western/American K-pop fans. This might be THEBLACKLABEL’s way of trying to endear the group to an international audience.
So What Does This Comeback Tell Us?
ALLDAY PROJECT are still figuring out what kind of group they’re going to be. There’s nothing wrong with switching up now and then.
ALLDAY PROJECT isn’t afraid to pivot. They’re not afraid to take risks. With a December comeback on the horizon, there’s a chance that the title track will bring back the confidence of their debut.
If ALLDAY PROJECT’s first era proved they can grab attention, this one shows they can change people’s perception of them too.
