K-pop group SEVENTEEN is back with a new mini-album. They released their 5th EP You Make My Day and its title track “Oh My!” on July 16.
“Oh My!” was written by members Woozi, rappers Vernon and S.Coups and Bumzu with help from Park Ki Tae from the production team Prismfilter. The track is a funky, playful, dance-pop song that calls back to their older songs, specifically “Adore U” and “Mansae”. While “Oh My!” isn’t as hard-hitting as their previous title tracks, its definitely a grower and a sign of a more mature sound.
You Make My Day has a total of six songs. Three of them, “Oh My!”, “Holiday” and “Our Dawn Is Hotter than Day” are performed by all 13 members. The rest of the album has songs by three different units. “Moonwalker” is performed by the performance unit, “What’s Good” is by the hip hop team and “Come to Me” is by the vocal unit.
