The Deep seeks redemption, and a police chase escalates. Tunnels lead to a sacrifice, unveiling lies about Compound V. The Boys, covered in blood, watch a power shift in The Seven unfold.

On a Boat

The Boys find themselves aboard a yacht sailing through the vast ocean. Butcher, feeling remorseful for his earlier punch, extends an apology to a dejected Hughie. In response, Hughie retaliates with a punch of his own.

Amidst the waves, Butcher contacts Grace, assuring her that their target is three miles offshore on the boat, emphasizing the importance of their deal. Billy asserts his determination to neutralize Kimiko if she changes allegiances. Frenchie, who has a fondness for Kimiko, overheard what Billy said.

Kimiko, sitting with her brother, promises to protect him, but he requests freedom. Tearfully, she apologizes as she tears up. Frenchie attempts to connect with Kimiko’s brother Kenji through sign language, which Kenji rejected. Frenchie leaves, leaving a bag of chips and a soda on the counter. Kenji uses telekinetic abilities to break the can of soda, using its sharp edges to cut through the tape on his hands.

Power Struggle

In a different setting, a writer pitches the plot for the new “A Dawn of the Seven” movie, but Stormfront sharply criticizes the sexist portrayals of women. Ashley, disturbed by a message, leaves the meeting, seeking out Stan Edgar. She stresses the need to inform Homelander about a crisis. However, Edgar dismisses Homelander’s significance in comparison to the unfolding situation. Edgar emphasizes The Seven’s unity against the Super Terrorist crisis. Homelander, indifferent to Vought’s fate, considers The Seven his “real family.”

Ryan Has Powers

Becca prepares breakfast for her son, only for Homelander to intrude, failing in trying to control the conversation during breakfast. In an attempt to regain control of the situation, Homelander asks Ryan to go outside. Homelander attempts to teach Ryan to fly. Ryan begged Homelander to not make him fly. Homelander pushed him off the roof, causing him to fall, leading to a confrontation with Becca. Ryan, angered, his eyes glowing red, intervenes protecting his mother. His powers revealed, he told Homelander to go away and leave them alone.

The Truth Comes Out

Compound V makes headlines, bringing joy to Starlight. A-Train confronts Starlight, suspicious of her motives. Black Noir, upon hearing the news, breaks down crying, while Hughie and Mother’s Milk celebrate the impact of their actions. Butcher urges them to stay focused.

The Deep shares his anguish about hearing sea animals begging for their lives in restaurants and pet stores as a child with Eagle and Carol. Learning he wasn’t born with his aquatic abilities devastates him. They convince him he is ready to return to The Seven.

The Hunt

A police helicopter announces their arrest on the yacht. Kimiko’s brother uses his powers to bring down the helicopter. Hughie is traumatized by the people in the helicopter dying. He calls Starlight, leaving her a message. She is his second wind.

The Boys, chased by sharks controlled by The Deep, approach the shore. Butcher rams the boat into a whale The Deep was riding, causing them all to get stuck inside Lucy’s corpse. Hughie, traumatized and broken, can barely keep up with others.

The Boys head through tunnels to find the FBI hideout. The Seven, hot on their trail, encounters The Deep crying over Lucy, witness how much he’s changed, and hears his vow to redeem himself.

Sacrifice

A-Train and Starlight split directions to pursue The Boys. A-Train has been hiding that his heart has palpitations when he runs fast. Hughie encounters Starlight, who knocks him down with her light as Homelander approaches. Homelander commands her to kill him, or he would kill them both. Butcher taunts Homelander to distract him, giving Kenji enough time to cause the tunnel to collapse, allowing their escape.

Kenji sacrifices himself to save Kimiko from Stormfront’s brutality. Stormfront kills him callously, revealing her true nature. She told him she wanted Kenji to look at her because she enjoys watching the light fade from the eyes of the people she kills. Distraught, Kimiko witnesses her brother’s death and flees from Homelander.

The Lies Continue

Stan Edgar denies knowledge of Compound V at a press conference, blaming Madelyn Stillwell. He introduces Stormfront as the hero, leaving a resentful Homelander behind. The Boys watch, covered in Lucy’s blood, in their hideout.
