Shawn Mendes teams up with DJ/producer Zedd for a remix of his latest single “Lost in Japan”.
The original version of “Lost in Japan” is a smooth, mid-tempo funk/R&B song where Shawn sings about wanting to connect with a love interest. It was released as a single on March 23, a day after the release of Shawn’s hit single “In My Blood”, but is just now starting to gain momentum on pop radio.
The Zedd remix retains the funk-inspired bass and melody of original, layered under a glitchy production with ticking clocks and some auto-tuned vocals. Check out the lyric video below.
